What a perfect day for a wedding; I'm so glad that I got to be a part of Brian & Toni's special day! We started out at the beautiful Marriot Hotel at Cal State Fullerton... and come to think of it, I think half of the people in attendance went to CSUF (myself included!). The Ceremony was held at the Chapman Chapel in Orange, and the day wrapped up at the Alumni House at CSUF.

After meeting the couple at Royce Hall, we took a walk around the beautiful UCLA campus... or at least what we could in the time we had; that place is huge! I'm a big fan of more architectural shooting locations, so I absolutely loved shooting here. I'm very excited that I have another shoot scheduled here in a week!

So I just picked up so new equipment, and I needed a willing subject to model for me. Well, the willing subject couldn't be found, but my coworker's dog Stevie was able to be persuaded with some treats. Stevie stays over at the Casa de Boulanger whenever my coworker's out of town, andif you ask me, she gets spoiled here!

Even though my boss's Ali-G costume was pretty impressive, the dogs got most of the attention at work this Halloween. This little Boston Terrier is Jackson, and anybody who's met the dog will appreciate just how fitting this costume is... (let's just say he's left "presents" for me under my desk on multiple occasions.)

After a few long days, I think I've finally recovered from the weekend. Sunday's wedding was especially enjoyable for me since I had a friend in attendance; other than that, the venue was awesome, the people were friendly, and the groomsmen were perhaps the most relaxed, wacky, fun-loving set of guys I've met in a long time!

I got to head back out to Redlands to shoot a few more cars for a coworker's father. As if a Ford GT wasn't enough (see my post on 2/17), he also owns a Shelby GT500 Mustang and a '67 Shelby Cobra Mustang (and about a dozen other cars as well; I'm suitably jealous).

Yesterday I had a fun shoot out in Redlands with a Ford GT. All I can say about this car is WOW. Needless to say, I want one. Maybe if I live on ramen noodles for the next 75 years...

Last Friday I got to drive north to Camarillo with RC Heli editor Aaron Shell to shoot an article about pilot Chuck Aaron and the Red Bull Helicopter (full size, not RC). Chuck Aaron is currently the only pilot in the country certified by the FAA to do Aerobatics in a helicopter. That's right... this guy can do back flips, front flips, barrel rolls, Split-S's, and other maneuver's in a helicopter; this is something you definitely don't see every day. Unfortunately for me, I got dropped off on a hilltop to take pictures, so I didn't get to experience the aerobatic craziness, but it looked like a ton of fun.

Just wanted to share a cool photo from a shoot last week for a review in RC Heli (www.rchelimag.com). This was the day the rain started, but you couldn't tell it from this photo. The sky was perfect; it's days like this that really make me love my job. Just don't try this at home... I can't think of a single logical thought behind something like this, even though this type of shot is part of all our reviews! "Yeah, it's got carbon fiber blades that spin at 2,000 rpm and can tear your head off... use a fisheye and get right up to it..."

We went to a nice bar in Riverside (right across the street from the Mission Inn featured several posts down, actually), to shoot the cover for Beer Magazine. Our other photographer Carl shot the cover; I just got to watch, and sneak a few shots here and there.
